Know somewhere that helps? Tell us.

The directory is drawn from a national listing that is good but not complete, small and newly formed organisations are often missing. If you know one that provides free or low-cost immigration legal help, add it. Listing costs nothing and we take nothing.

Who belongs here. Nonprofit organisations, law school clinics, and legal aid providers staffed by licensed attorneys or representatives accredited by the Department of Justice. Private law firms belong in the attorney marketplace instead, which requires bar verification. Consultants and document preparers who are neither do not belong in either.

How far the organisation will go, filling in forms is very different from appearing in immigration court, and people need to know which.

About you

Not published. We use it only if we have a question before approving the listing.

Nothing appears publicly until a person reviews it. We check because an unreviewed directory of immigration help is exactly the surface a notario operation would use to advertise.

Consider also submitting the organisation to the National Immigration Legal Services Directory, which is the source most of these listings come from. An entry there reaches far more people than one here, and everyone’s copy improves.
